Stadtwerke Krefeld
The SWK STADTWERKE KREFELD AG (Krefeld municipal utilities) offers a wide range of products and services from a single provider with its subsidiary companies as a multi-service provider for Krefeld and the region. For more than 150 years SWK has been supplying electricity, gas, district heat and water. Sewage treatment and removal as well as waste management and local public transport are also among its core skills. As a 100 percent municipal company, SWK has developed customer-based offers in the sense of complete, innovative service packages over the past few years. As an independent municipal utility, SWK wants to prepare itself for future developments, which will be dictated on the one hand by the competition and on the other by law, and its thus involved in the E-DeMa project.
